These terms cover member profiles on tng.org.nz. By submitting the profile form and ticking the agreement box, you accept them.
1. Who can have a profile
Profiles are available to current TNG members. When your membership ends, your profile is removed from the website.
2. Your information
You confirm the information you submit is accurate and yours to share, and you agree to keep it reasonably up to date. What appears publicly is set out in the Privacy Policy and controlled by your choices on the form.
3. Contact details
Your email and phone appear on your profile only if you tick the display boxes on the form. Displayed details are protected from automated bulk collection as described in the Privacy Policy, though no publicly visible information can be made impossible to copy. You can change your display choices at any time.
4. Photos and images
You confirm you own the images you upload or have permission to use them, including any people shown. You grant TNG a licence to display them on tng.org.nz and, if you opt in, in TNG’s social media features. You keep full ownership of your images.
4A. Limited Licence and Use of Profile Content
By submitting profile content, including text, photographs, logos and other materials, you grant TNG a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce and display that content for the purposes of:
(a) operating and maintaining the member directory on tng.org.nz;
(b) promoting your membership and participation within TNG;
(c) facilitating connections between TNG members and website visitors; and
(d) any other purpose expressly consented to by you.
TNG will not sell, license, commercially exploit, or use your profile content for unrelated marketing, advertising or promotional purposes without obtaining your prior consent, except where required by law.
5. Content standards
Profiles must be honest, professional, and relevant to your business. TNG may lightly edit for clarity and consistency, and may decline or remove content that does not meet these standards. Where practical, we talk to you first.
6. Removal and changes
Ask for your profile to be updated or removed at any time via sales@tng.org.nz. TNG may update these terms and will let members know of significant changes.
7. Liability
TNG takes reasonable care with your information but is not liable for loss arising from third parties copying publicly displayed content, or from interruptions to the website. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under New Zealand law.
