As we approach the end of the year, it’s a great time to reflect on how we can get the best out of our networking group.
As many of our members have pointed out, good networking etiquette is essential for maintaining the high standards and supportive culture we’ve built together.
We touched on these topics at our AGM earlier this year, and they really reflect the values of authenticity, courtesy, generosity, and valour that are at the core of our community.
A few things to keep in mind:
· Regular attendance: Showing up regularly ensures that your business is well-represented and you don’t miss out on potential referrals.
· Punctuality: Arriving on time shows respect for everyone’s time and sets a professional tone.
· Be present and engaged: Staying focused, avoiding phone calls, and not checking emails during meetings helps keep the energy high and builds stronger connections.
· Respectful networking: Networking is not about collecting business cards and adding everyone to your email list. It’s about building trust and authentic relationships.
For a more indepth look into networking etiquette, we’ve written a blog that you can check out here.
Let’s keep connecting.
